Brasov, March 1892 … a fire horse with steam, named a tram, puffing, was realizing a national premier. It was the first line to make an extra-urban route to Sacele!
Starting from Bartolomew train station, where there was a small shed next to the passenger building, the tram went up on Strada Lunga until Piata Sfatului, where it went down on Muresenilor Street, curving at right beside today’s Aro Hotel and arriving in front of the City Hall thru the park.

From this point the tram went down on the current 15th November Boulevard until the station Schiel (later renamed Ramificatie, apoi Strungul), and on to Hidromecanica Square where it connected with the old railway station on Harman and another line continued under Dealul Melcilor, where it crossed the Predeal-Brasov railway and, through the outskirts of villages Baciu, Turcheş and Cernatu, reached Satulung station.
