Cheile Gradistei Fundata, Biathlon Arena
The new Resort Fundata touristic complex is situated at 35 km from Brasov, on a higher zone in the Fundata area. Access is done only on a private paved road.
The resort offers beautiful panoramas for the Piatra Craiului mountains and Bucegi mountains, the freshness and the privacy make the complex to be a place full of beauty and peace.
The Resort Fundata complex has a capacity of 484 accommodation places, in 232 rooms from the hotels and villas.

Cheile Grădiștei sports base has already a high demand abroad. For example, the Ukrainian women’s biathlon team with two of the top five athletes in the world ranking of the moment (no Valj Semerenko – 2nd place and Olena Pidhrushna) charged its batteries before the season on those slopes. „I don’t know how this is seen on national level, but I’m glad it’s appreciated internationally. Ukraine’s first team trained here for three weeks in November, and next summer they planned four training camps, said Ovidiu Garbacea, the owner of Cheile Gradistei complex.
Until the end of the year an 1800 seat multi-purpose hall, with all necessary facilities, will be completed at Cheile Gradistei. ”The sport arena can accommodate meetings between handball, volleyball and basketball teams.It will be here at the peak of the mountain.
