Fundata
Fundata is situated at 36 km from Poiana Braşov and 43 km from Braşov, on a higher zone (1.300m) in Fundata area. The place offers beautiful panoramas for the Piatra Craiului Mountains and Bucegi Mountains, the freshness and the privacy make the complex a place full of beauty and peace.
Poiana Brasov
One of the most popular destinations for tourists, Poiana Braşov is situated at the foot of Mount Postăvarul, at an altitude of 1020m, 15km from Braşov City and it is accessible by car or bus in approximately 20 minutes. In this resort tourists can get accommodation in two, three and four-star hotels as well as in boarding houses.
There are equipment rental centres for winter sports, bicycles, scooters and other means of transport used for entertainment.
Places to visit in the nearby: Peştera de Lapte (The Milky Cave), Pietrele lui Solomon (Solomon’s Cliffs), Muchia Cheii (Itvig Steep), Templul Idolilor (The Idols’ Temple) (Bisericuţa Păgânilor – Pagans’ Church) and Tâmpa Reservation. The trail Poiana Braşov – Mount Cristianul Mare is attended by three cable cars that take 5 to 6 minutes travel from one terminal to the other.
