Holbav (German Hohlbach [brook hollow, hollow valley, hollow], Hungarian Holbák) is a village in the county of Brasov, Transylvania, Romania.

In Holbav, tourists can Holbav Day (12 June at communal pasture), the Feast “Scoverzilor” (in August in the village center) or Maial Spring (May, in the “Merezi”).

There are also opportunities for developing rural tourism. The surroundings are meadows with views frumoaste: Glade wild garlic, snowdrops Glade. Those interested can visit the resort paleontological clay, under the aegis of the Romanian Academy.
