Brasov: The First Romanian School – “The jewel in the Crown”, TheWinterborn, Göteborg, Svezia

Last Updated on august 30, 2014 “The jewel in the Crown”, TheWinterborn, Göteborg, Svezia (Tripadvisor.com)

Corona is the old name for the town of Brașov, which is the latin name for Corwn..well, the First Romanian School is really a jewel in Brașov!
The guide is the only person going through the old historical archives of the city..digging up old documents from the middle ages on and displaying them in the school for the visitors! During our visit, he showed us documents from the 18th century he had uncovered not even two weeks before! His passion and enthusiasm will drag you into one of the most enjoyable visits of your stay in that wonderful town of Brașov..

P.S. the fee is ridiculously small (outrageously small for what is displayed there, and for all the work behind it…there are much less valuable visits in town which cost much more!), so make sure you go there!
