“It’s Dracula’s castle, so you have to go” – Todd Goode Millington, Tennessee

While some are disappointed that there isn’t as much to see inside, if you go in knowing it wasn’t designed to be a residence but a fort you will enjoy it. The secret passageway is one of the highlights, as it is tight quarters and just feels like you are really in a medieval castle. We had an absolutely wonderful tour guide who made us laugh the whole time (his name was Matty). Driving around the back of the castle to get the views of the castle that you find on postcards is well worth the few minutes as well. The setting is just perfect. The gift shop is small but carries some cute things.
